Itineraries
Day 01
Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After checking in and freshening up, enjoy an evening sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the Hanuman Dhoka Palace and the Living Goddess Kumari’s House, providing a glimpse into the history and royal heritage of Nepal. Spend the evening soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the square before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02
Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast, spend the day visiting Kathmandu’s most iconic landmarks:
- Pashupatinath Temple: One of the holiest Hindu temples in the world, located along the Bagmati River. Observe the spiritual rituals and cremation ceremonies that take place at this sacred site.
- Bouddhanath Stupa: This massive stupa is a central hub for Tibetan Buddhists, and its peaceful surroundings offer a perfect place for reflection.
- Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): Situated atop a hill, this stupa offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and is surrounded by smaller shrines and playful monkeys.
- Patan Durbar Square: A stunning display of medieval Newar architecture with temples, courtyards, and statues that reveal the rich cultural history of the Kathmandu Valley.
After a day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03
Drive to Chitwan
After breakfast, begin your drive to Chitwan, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed national park renowned for its wildlife. The drive will take approximately 5-6 hours, passing through scenic countryside, small villages, and lush landscapes. Upon arrival in Chitwan, check into your hotel and enjoy a welcoming lunch. Afterward, you will be briefed about the upcoming jungle safari activities. The evening will include an introduction to the local culture and some leisure time at your hotel.
Day 04
Jungle Safari in Chitwan
Today, immerse yourself in the natural beauty and wildlife of Chitwan National Park. All meals are included, and you will participate in the following exciting activities:
- Elephant Ride: Enjoy a ride through the jungle on the back of an elephant, spotting wildlife like rhinos, tigers, and various species of deer.
- Canoeing: Take a peaceful boat ride along the Rapti River, where you can observe crocodiles, water birds, and other wildlife along the riverbanks.
- Jungle Walk: Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, explore the park on foot, learning about the flora and fauna of the area.
- Elephant Breeding Center: Visit the Elephant Breeding Center, where you can learn about the conservation efforts for elephants and observe baby elephants.
- Crocodile Breeding Center: Explore the Crocodile Breeding Center, where conservation programs for the endangered Gharial crocodile are in place.
- Bird Watching: Chitwan is home to over 500 bird species, making it a paradise for bird watchers. Spot kingfishers, eagles, and many other birds.
- Tharu Stick Dance: Enjoy a cultural performance of the traditional Tharu stick dance, a lively and energetic display of local dance and music.
Day 05
Drive to Pokhara
After breakfast, drive to Pokhara, one of Nepal’s most beautiful destinations, known for its serene lakes and stunning views of the Annapurna Mountain Range. The drive will take around 5-6 hours, offering scenic views of the countryside. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into your hotel. Later, take a leisurely walk along the shores of Fewa Lake and enjoy a boating adventure on the lake, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You will have the rest of the evening to relax and enjoy the beauty of Pokhara.
Day 06
Sunrise at Sarangkot and Pokhara Sightseeing
Start your day early with a drive to Sarangkot, a popular viewpoint for breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Witness the spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna Range and Machapuchare (Fishtail Peak). After returning to the hotel for breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Pokhara:
- Vindyavashini Temple: A Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Vindyavashini, located near Fewa Lake.
- Seti Gorge: A deep gorge carved by the Seti River, with dramatic views of the river and surrounding landscapes.
- Mahendra Cave: A limestone cave with impressive stalactites and stalagmites formations.
- Davi’s Fall: A beautiful waterfall where the water flows into a deep gorge, forming a natural pool.
After sightseeing, return to your hotel to relax and spend the evening at leisure.
Day 07
Drive to Bandipur
After breakfast, drive to the picturesque hilltop village of Bandipur, known for its preserved cultural heritage and stunning mountain views. The drive will take approximately 2-3 hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and explore the charming village. Enjoy a leisurely village tour to experience the local lifestyle, traditions, and panoramic views of the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges. The evening will be at your leisure to explore or relax at the hotel.
Day 08
Cable Car Ride to Manakamana and Drive to Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive to Kuringhat and take a cable car ride to the Manakamana Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site dedicated to the goddess Manakamana. The temple is perched on a hilltop and offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. After visiting the temple, return by cable car and drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 09
Shopping and Departure
On your final day, take some time to shop for souvenirs at the bustling markets of Kathmandu, including Thamel and Durbar Square, where you can find unique handicrafts, jewelry, pashminas, and more. After shopping, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight.
