Having grown up in a village of Nalang, Dhading, just 90 kilometers away from Kathmandu, Rajan immersed himself in the rhythms of mountain life. Brought up in a close-knit family, he understood the values of shared experience overcoming challenges and celebrating joys together without any thoughts of deceit. He did his schooling to one of the finest schools in Kathmandu, that added values to life and learnings. Rajan holds two master’s degrees: one in Sociology and another in Development Management.
He has the long years of experience in tourism and hospitality industry, he has worked in various capacities, both in paid roles and those where he faced challenges and deceit which has let him learn life and survival. Rajan believes in Karma, with the strong principle of self-reliance without causing harm to others, Rajan values to his work and service with excellence, considering Karma comes around. He has been the part of the tourism sector since 2007, starting with guest house management and tour services. His journey into trekking also began in 2007 with the Poon Hill Trek, followed by leading a Chinese group to Annapurna Base Camp. Since then, Rajan has completed numerous treks in the Annapurna, Everest, and Langtang regions.
For Rajan, the driving force behind his work in tourism is a commitment to service excellence. He believes that true success comes through collaboration—working closely with clients, trekking staffs, travel agents, and service providers to make every dreams come true. He has been leading this venture, providing best for the tourists that Nepal has to cater.
