Flights into Paro Airport are subject to weather. On clear days, you can enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas, including snow-capped peaks.
Thimphu (2,648 m), Punakha (1,200 m), and Paro (2,200 m) are high-altitude destinations. Take it easy on arrival and stay hydrated.

Horse rides to Tiger’s Nest Monastery and farmhouse visits are available at an extra cost (approx. USD 25 per person each).
Bhutanese Ngultrum (BTN) is the official currency. Indian Rupees are widely accepted. Mobile network and internet are available in towns but may be limited in remote areas.
