You’ll need a TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) card and a Sagarmatha National Park entry permit. These are typically arranged by trekking agencies.
Basic lodges along the route have limited electricity, Wi-Fi, and hot water. Expect to pay extra for charging devices and showers.
ATM access is limited, and credit cards are not widely accepted. Carry enough cash, especially for the higher parts of the trek where there are no ATMs.
