The trek requires special Tsum Valley and Manaslu Conservation Area permits. Make sure these are obtained in advance.
The trek reaches high altitudes (up to 4,000m+). Acclimatization is key to avoid altitude sickness.
Expect limited or no mobile signal in remote areas. Be prepared for a digital detox!
