The hike to Sarangkot in Pokhara, Nepal, is a rewarding trek known for its stunning sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The hike typically starts from Lakeside or nearby settlements, with a well-marked uphill trail passing through forests, villages, and terraced fields. It takes around 2 to 3 hours to reach the viewpoint at 1,600 meters, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Pokhara Valley, Phewa Lake, and the snow-capped peaks. Sarangkot is also a popular spot for paragliding. The hike is moderate in difficulty and best done early in the morning to catch the sunrise.

Did the Sarangkot hike from Pokhara it’s an easy, beautiful trail with amazing mountain and valley views. The sunrise at the top is definitely worth the early wake-up. Some parts get crowded, but the peaceful villages and scenery make it a great half-day trip.
